<p><strong>Discover your opportunity to deliver a ground-breaking money-management course for parents – and train in Manchester!</strong><br /><br />Quidz In – raising financially confident kids is for parents who want their children to be ‘money-wise’ and live fulfilling lives free from crushing debt. As this programme is rolled out nationally, I am delighted to invite you to take part in a training session in Manchester to train facilitators for this course. <br /><br />In two days the training for Quidz In will give you a thorough understanding of the course material and how to set up a course in the community and market it to parents. The training is accredited with The Open College Network (OCN) and you have the option of working towards gaining credits at no extra charge. <br /><br />The Manchester facilitator’s course will be held on <strong>Friday 17 and Saturday 18 July 2009</strong>. The cost will be £200 per delegate, which includes your Facilitator’s pack (course manual, Parent’s Handbook and DVD) plus refreshments and lunch. The training will be held at the <strong>Waterside Hotel, Wilmslow Road, Didsbury, Manchester M20 5WZ</strong>.</p>

<p><strong>3 reasons why Quidz In will meet real needs in your community…</strong></p>

<li>1 Many children have no real understanding of where money comes from. Quidz In helps parents to help children realise what money actually is.</li>
<li>2 Debt particularly affects the young - in the past year more people under 30 have filed for bankruptcy than ever before. Experts predict many people in their 20s today won’t ever get free from debt or financial insecurity.</li>
<li>3 The good news is the people children are most likely to listen to are parents. Parents are ideally placed to create financial confidence in their children.</li>

<p><strong>Who’d make a good Quidz In facilitator?</strong></p>
<p>You don’t need to be a finance professional to deliver Quidz In, but you should be<br />someone with:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience of working with small groups</li>
<li>The support of an organisation – for example, your work, faith or community group; or you will need to provide character references</li>
<li>Links with groups of parents, or the ability to make these links</li>
</ul>
<p>If you provide parenting education or debt advice, then Quidz In will enable you to broaden the range of the services you offer.</p>
