March 1-9 was PeaceWeek 2008. The Launch Event "Bridging the Gap", 25 school assemblies, lots of creative workshops in schools ending with a packed Showcase event at Zion Arts, 24 hours of prayer, a Photographic display, a Comedy Night, a football competition for the Peace Week Shield, "Imagine" - a sacred space in St Agnes Longsight for reflection and prayer, the return of the Lantern Parade, the OSBAs... and lots more I can't recall just now. People of all faiths and none or not sure working together on a shared agenda - concern for our young people - and generating good news. Was the Prince of Peace present? Oh yes.
