PeaceWeek 2010 - March 6-13 - Peace in the Mix

Everything is coming together for the 8th inner-south Manchester PeaceWeek. It will be the usual mix of centrally organised events and a number from other groups. See our events list on this website and also on the PeaceWeek and OSBA websites. New this year is the Peace Debate, one of several events with Rev Nims Obunge, CEO of London Week of Peace. It would be great to see some local churches represented.

The big event for mass-participation is the Lantern Parade on Friday March 12. This is a great way to 'be part of the mix' in the community and support peace and cohesion in the most basic way... by TURNING UP! It's 2 hours, once a year. What could you possibly be doing that is more important?!!
