Mustard Tree is an organisation based just north of the city centre, in Ancoats. We exist to improve and rebuild the lives of homeless and marginalised people in Manchester.
We try and fulfill this by providing support through the provision of emergency food parcels, clothing and furniture from our base in Ancoats. We also provide training courses and volunteering opportunities.
Our clients include those living on the streets or in temporary accommodation; refugees and asylum seekers; people recovering from addictions; the long term unemployed; those recently released from prison and families with little money who are setting up home.
Twice a week we also distribute soup, sandwiches and hot drinks to the homeless in the City Centre.
We have a great team of volunteers who help provide this service but we always welcome new volunteers!
