I've been married to Janet since 1999 and we have one son, Joseph (5). He has the combined craziness of both his parents and plenty of charm all his own. We live in Sale Moor, where we do church in our and other friends' homes. Things we like doing together include eating, praying and telling stories. For the last 3+ years I've been a Learning Mentor in a primary school in Ashton-under-Lyne, a job that I love. I get to work with kids aged 3-11 and their families, doing all kinds of stuff that's a bit outside the box. No two days are the same and the school is absolutely great. We're well on our way to achieving Fairtrade School status too, which makes me excited! A few other things I love are running, cycling, reading, hanging out with homeless people and being exceedingly silly with my son (and small children in general.) Oh, and God has finally taught me to like gardening, as long as it involves growing vegetables.
